How to fold the Kipinat Fortune Teller.
- Cut out the square along the faint outline.
- Place the paper blank side up.
- Fold one corner across to the opposite corner. Press the crease firmly, then unfold.
- Fold the other two opposite corners together. Press the crease firmly, then unfold.
- Fold all four corners in to the center point. Do not unfold.
- Turn the paper over.
- Fold all four corners in to the center point again. Do not unfold.
- Fold the shape in half. Press the crease firmly, then unfold.
- Fold it in half the other way. Press the crease firmly, then unfold.
- Hold the paper so the folded flaps face outward.
- Slide your thumbs and index fingers into the four pockets underneath.
- Gently push the corners toward the center until the fortune teller pops into shape.
- Open and close it a few times to loosen the folds.
